Wedding & Baptism

Clayton was the ring bearer in a wedding this past weekend. One of Graham's best friends growing up got married. It was a beautiful wedding. Graham looked great in his tux and Clayton did a great job as ring bearer. We weren't sure how he would do. In fact, we warned the bride and groom that he may not actually make it down the isle. As it turns out, the flower girl got very upset and had to be carried out, and Clayton strolled the isle all alone. He walked very slow and looked back and forth at the people around him. He made it to the end of the long isle where Graham picked him up and carried him to Ganna and Grandaddy. Clayton proclaimed (loud enough for the first few rows to hear) "I did a great job carrying the pillow!" It was sweet and we were very proud.

This past Sunday, Ann Wilson was baptized into the covenant family. This baptism did not secure her salvation but rather served as a sign and seal of the Covenant of Grace illustrating what Christ has done for his people. We pray that Ann Wilson will come to know Christ early on and serve him through out her life.
